Quantum Dye to Embed Vaccination History into Skin

A group of Massachusetts Institute of Technology researchers funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has developed a way to embed vaccination history directly into the skin.

The researchers Langer and Jaklenec used a tiny needles called microneedles embedded in a Band-Aid-like device that is placed on the skin. Along with the vaccine, the researchers are proposing that a child would be injected with a type of dye that is invisible to the naked eye. The Quantum dye would embed vaccination history directly into their skin.

The dye is viewed using a purposed cell-phone filter combined with an app that shines near-infrared light onto the skin.

The system could provide immediate access to vaccination history while adding little to the cost or risk of the procedure.

The researchers hope to add more detailed information to the dots, such as the date of vaccination.

The benefits of this type of application are that it would not require the services of a skilled nurse or technicians to administer the application. The researchers also stated that vaccines delivered with microneedles also may not need to be refrigerated, reducing both the cost and difficulty of delivery.

The application has been tested on rodents but has yet to be tested on children.

EDITOR: When vaccine passports were developed people wondered if technology would find a way to embed or tattoo the skin a permanent record. We all know where this is heading, “Mark of the Beast”. No buying or selling without the Mark.
